JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN - DISTRIBUTION
Journeyman Lineman – Distribution
A Journeyman Lineman atÌýIrby Construction Company classification will have received their training in an approved forty-two (42) month apprenticeship program or a certified testing program or must have five (5) years of continuous substation/line construction/maintenance experience. Journeyman Linemen shall have a working knowledge of all aspects of substation/line work and have the capability and expertise to work independently if required.
Location: Lake Charles, LA, and Baton Rouge, LA

PROJECT SAFETY COORDINATOR
Project Safety CoordinatorÌý
A Project Safety Coordinator at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum 5 year’s related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current certifications or in pursuit of any of the following certifications areÌýpreferred:
- Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), or
- Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
- °ä±ð°ù³Ù¾±´Ú¾±³¦²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²õÌýrequired:
- OSHA 500
- First Aid, CPR, AED & BBP trainer
- Forklift Trainer
- Spanish-English bilingual

PROJECT SAFETY COORDINATOR

A Project Safety Coordinator at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum 5 year’s related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Spanish-English bilingual

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS) and construction- specific software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
